My morning, “Look for 50-year old Cougars on Craigslist in a Wife-Approved way,” search was met with this:

Yes, when I think of cars that are great on gas, the first thing I think of is 60's American muscle with large displacement V8's and automatic transmissions.
Also, CP but love the car.

Fair point - I’m sure it’s better on fuel than a Max Wedge, SD Pontiac, or 409/425 running a 4.56 rear...

What I’ve never understood about the scammers is how they always do some stupidly-specific price like $37615, when every normal person rounds to the nearest $500 or $250. It’s so dang obvious. But I suppose some folks still fall for it or else they wouldn’t be trying at all.

![]() 01/31/2018 at 11:46 |

the 429CJ was more powerful.

On paper. Every 428 car could run circles around a 429.

Yes. Even then. Because these are available:

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Yours is the wrong one, but you are in fact entitled to it.
Hahaha

This is one of the best/worst scams I’ve ever seen.
Also shitty picture of my monitor because I didn’t feel like actually screen capping it.
